Welcome to the month of March!  Many celebrate March Madness, and the welcome time of Spring! However, with this seasonal shift, our body and mind need time to process the return of the sunlight, warmer weather and our emotional regulation.

While March can bring challenges, it also offers opportunities for renewal. The changing season reminds us that transitions take time, and adjusting at our own pace is key. By listening to our bodies, prioritizing self-care, and embracing the light at our own speed, we can navigate this seasonal shift with greater ease.


As winter melts away and spring emerges, remember: it’s okay to feel a mix of emotions. Whether you're eager for change or slowly adjusting, March is a time to honor your mental health journey and move forward with mindfulness and compassion.

March also brings changes in weather that can affect our physical health, which in turn impacts mental well-being. Temperature fluctuations, allergies, and lingering winter fatigue can make it difficult to jump into an active lifestyle.


To support your mental health:

  • Get outside when possible to enjoy fresh air and sunlight.

  • Engage in gentle movement like walking or stretching to boost endorphins.

  • Stay hydrated and eat nutritious foods to support energy levels.

  • Therapy can help create a personalized prevention plan for future seasonal changes.

  • You can learn early warning signs of emotional triggers and implement strategies before symptoms become overwhelming.
