Hypnotherapy is the art of utilizing this state to illicit positive change and improvement in behaviors and physical conditions.  According to Dave Elman, author of "Hypnotherapy" "Hypnosis is bypassing the critical faculty of the conscious mind in order to establish selective thinking within the subconscious mind."  A medical hypnotherapist has extensive training in the medical applications of hypnosis and writing hypnosis programs to effectively complement standard medical procedures being used.  What is it like to be hypnotized? Hypnosis is in between being wide-awake and asleep. You are aware of everything being said yet you are relaxed at the same time. Did you ever wake up in the morning before your alarm clock rings? You could get up if you had to, and yet you are feeling so mellow, so comfortable that you just want to enjoy relaxing for a while. We pass through that level upon awakening and then again at night before we go to sleep. It has been said that 15 minutes of hypnosis is equivalent to a 3-hour nap. After the hypnosis you will feel refreshed and comfortable. Almost everyone can be hypnotized if they choose to. There are only four groups of people who cannot be hypnotized. 1. Very young children. 2. If you are under the influence of alcohol. 3. People who are severally mentally challenged. 4. Those who don't want to be. 

Cancellation Policy

You must pre-pay for your session, even when scheduling in person with your provider. *You will be expected to pay upon registration for this event/class/appointment.  Your card on file may also be charged to pay for this registration.  If you no-show to your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the cost of the appointment.  If you cancel the same day, you be will charged 25% of the cost of the appointment. Please use the self scheduling tools to cancel and reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.  If you need to cancel within 24 hours, please text us at 502-618-2823 with your name, the appointment type and the reason for canceling.
